I have had an interest in design since I was a little kid, constantly rearranging and decorating my bedroom. That interest stayed with me through college where I began taking photography classes and eventually working in the photo lab where I helped students process their film and make prints in the dark room. I went on to take several more art classes, experimenting in all different medias from watercolor, to sculpting, to drawing. I still like to try new things and don’t limit myself to one media.
I am a lifelong Massachusetts native. Growing up around the colors of the New England seasons sparked a love for the rich beauty and complexity of nature. I first experimented with painting while visiting my grandmother in the hospital as a boy, and the creation of my work evokes distinct emotions for me which are often reflected in my depictions of seasonal change. I endeavor to pass on my knowledge of interpreting the world through an artists eyes and onto canvas.
